Each maintenance agreement is custom tailored to your kitchen and your needs. We offer a variety of options so you can keep your kitchen running while maintaining your budget.

Initial Maintenance visit will have REQUIRED repairs necessary to bring your equipment into full working condition per the manufacturer’s specifications. Once your equipment is running as it should, we can maintain it, ultimately extending the lifecycle and performance over time.

What’s Included 

With a Planned Maintenance Package from Malachy, you are in charge! Tell us what equipment you want covered and how often you want us to show up (monthly, quarterly, etc.). We will create a package for you and then automatically show up to perform maintenance at the requested time. Our experienced staff will provide you with a detailed report on how your equipment is functioning, and if any repairs need to be made, you will receive a discount on our labor rates. Our goal is the same as yours — to ensure that your kitchen equipment continues to operate at peak performance!

  • Inspect all safety and electrical devices
  • Inspect for water leaks
  • Gas equipment- clean burners and orifices
  • Inspect doors, latches, and gaskets for proper operation and condition
  • Lubricate mechanical parts and inspect for wear
  • Calibrate thermostats
  • Test operation

  • Clean condensers and coils
  • Inspect evaporator and fan, clean if needed
  • Check and log temperatures
  • Inspect door hardware and gaskets

  • Check/Adjust thermostat for proper temperature
  • Inspect for leaks
  • Inspect drain seat, O-ring
  • Clean pump intake screen
  • Check water flow through final rinse nozzles

  • Descale boiler with OEM chemical
  • Inspect door gaskets and latches
  • Test cold water condenser
  • Record amperage on elements
  • Inspect cooling fan for debris, clean if needed

  • Descale steam generator
  • Inspect for water leaks
  • Check all system operations and temperatures
  • Inspect doors, latches, and gaskets for proper operation and condition
  • Inspect and clean blower wheel
  • Inspect filters and change if needed, filters billed separately
  • Lubricate mechanical parts and inspect for wear

  • Clean condensers and coils
  • Chemically clean and sanitize
  • Inspect filters and change if needed, filters billed separately
  • Arrangements can be made to clean bin if emptied in advance

Do you provide maintenance plans?

Yes. Each Planned Maintenance Agreement is different because every kitchen is different. We customize the maintenance plan to your needs for Cooking, Refrigeration (Ice & HVAC), Warewashing & Food Prep Equipment.

Is planned maintenance important for my equipment?

Yes. If you do not properly maintain your equipment from day one, you put major components at risk to fail sooner.

Can I get a free consultation for a maintenance agreement?

Yes! Please submit this form let us know you’re interested in a planned maintenance agreement and we will reach out to schedule a time and visit your location!

How often should maintenance be performed?

It all depends on your operation. We recommend quarterly maintenance on all refrigeration, ice machines, steamers & combi ovens. (Anything water runs through) We recommend once or twice a year for cooking, warming and food prep equipment. Reach out for a free consultation and we can put together a customized plan.
